If was a Member of Parliament or president of the country, would I say no to owning a farm?

One by one the backyard rooms came down. Our neighbours gathered around the policemen. All the shouting and loud protests were in vain.
It’s a complicated question this “Would you die for your country?” My own sense of patriotism could be easily questioned. I imagine it ‘shaky’ at best.
I came across a group on Facebook calling themselves Rhodesians Worldwide. The group seems to be exactly what you would expect, mostly white folks getting nostalgic about ‘the good old days’ in the land we now call Zimbabwe.
Aunt Rhoda is right, you do need to bond with your children, but proximity is not indicative of intimacy. There are plenty of ways in which parents can make it work long distance with their children
I am proud to say that I can now do anything using both arms. I have realised that when you have a disability or any difficult situation in life do not limit yourself. The sky is only the limit.
